2008 Dean of Students office awards

Several Dean of Students Office programs and a graduate assistant received specific recognition at the award ceremonies:

2008 Commitment to Diversity Awards

• Outstanding Established Program Award – Civil Rights Movement Trip, through Leadership and Service

2008 Student Involvement Recognition Ceremony Awards

• Outstanding Academic/Educational Program of the Year: Student Government Association and Forensics Union (Forensics is not a part of the Dean of Students Office)
• Outstanding Graduate Leader of the Year – Barry Tolchin, Graduate Assistant, Dean of Students Office
• Outstanding Service/Volunteer Program of the Year: Alternative Spring Break, Leadership and Service
• Outstanding Social/Entertainment Program of the Year: University Program Board
