CAS Standards

The Council for the Advancement of Standards in Higher Education established standards in Student Affairs programs to foster and enhance students' learning and achievement academically, psychologically, physically, socially, and in general to promote good citizenship. The standards evaluate student needs, requirements of sound pedagogy, and effective management of 29 functional areas consistent with institutional missions.

In 2001, all departments in the Division of Student Affairs completed and assessment utilizing the CAS standards. The reports from the department CAS assessments can be accessed by clicking the links below.
