Illinois State University has a rich history of offering students outstanding leadership opportunities in a multitude of forums. The Division of Student Affairs continues to provide programs and opportunities that build strong student leaders.
Launched under Illinois State University’s first ever campaign, Redefining “normal”, the Institute for Leadership Development was the Division of Student Affairs’ key initiative in the campaign. The Institute for Leadership Development was established to take the student leader experience at Illinois State to a whole new level. Outright gifts, multi-year pledges, and estate commitments totaling more than $1 million laid the foundation for this outstanding endeavor. Thanks to many generous donors, every Illinois State student has the opportunity to fully realize his or her leadership potential.
